SMU Bishop Invitational concludes after weather delays
The SMU Bishop Invitational in Dupont, Washington, concluded following a weather-related reduction in play. Originally scheduled for 54 holes, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes after Friday's opening round was canceled due to rain.
Cal State San Marcos secured the team title with an 8-under tournament total, while Bradley Mulder of Colorado Christian won the individual title.
Chico State finished in 11th place with a total score of 604. Individual standout Alex LemMon recorded a 6-under 66 in the final round to finish seventh overall. Sammy Bermant led the Wildcats' team scoring, tying for 27th.
Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) finished tied for sixth place out of 15 teams. The Nighthawks posted a +9 in the first round and a +2 in the second. JJ Brigowatz and Kasey Gaff led the NNU performance, with Brigowatz finishing tied for 18th.
