Điện Biên hosts

The fourth stage of the 2026 "I Love My Fatherland" journey took place in Sín Thầu Commune, Điện Biên Province, focusing on social welfare and patriotic education for youth in border regions.

Organizers provided various resources to the local community, including "Happy House" construction projects, scholarships, 700 national flags, 700 maps, water purifiers, and children's play areas and book collections. Additionally, 1,000 red scarves were distributed to ethnic minority children as gifts from the Prime Minister. The delegation also visited families of policy holders and martyrs, including the Leng Su Sìn Border Guard Station.

A significant highlight of the program was a flag-raising ceremony held at the A Pa Chải Flagpole, a 45.19-meter structure shaped like a white ban flower located at the junction of the Vietnam-Laos-China borders. Over 200 young people participated in the ceremony, which served as a symbolic affirmation of national sovereignty and a means of educating the younger generation about their responsibility to protect the country's borders.
