Snack brands launch early holiday and seasonal food lineups

Major snack brands are beginning to release seasonal products ahead of the Halloween and Christmas holidays. Retailers are seeing an early influx of holiday-themed items, with some brands already transitioning from autumn to winter flavors.

Philadelphia is reportedly introducing new cream cheese flavors, including a Hot Honey variety that may be exclusive to Walmart until 2027, as well as Salted Caramel and Cranberry Orange. Little Debbie has officially announced its 2026 Christmas lineup, which includes new products such as Hot Cocoa Mini Muffins and Big Pack Christmas Old Fashioned Donuts, alongside returning favorites like Christmas Tree Cakes and Gingerbread Cookies.

Other seasonal updates include the reported return of Lay’s Magic Masala flavor and upcoming Hostess offerings such as Snickerdoodle Twinkies and Hot Cocoa and Marshmallow Donettes. Walmart is also expanding its own-brand snack selection with new dessert bars and bakery items.
