Mannat residence: 8-foot snake rescued from Shah Rukh Khan's home

An eight-foot-long non-venomous Dhaman, also known as an Indian rat snake, was rescued from the premises of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, in Bandra West, Mumbai.

On August 17, security staff spotted two snakes on the property, prompting a call to professional snake rescuer Vicky Dubey and the Forest Department. During the operation, rescuers located the first snake coiled under a staircase in the courtyard. The reptile was safely captured and released into its natural habitat following Forest Department guidelines.

A second snake was also reported on the grounds, but it managed to escape the area before it could be captured. No injuries were reported, and the snake species involved is non-venomous. Shah Rukh Khan is currently not residing in the bungalow due to ongoing renovation work.
