Snake travels from Maglič camping trip to Belgrade apartment

A woman named Tijana experienced a frightening encounter after a snake traveled from a camping trip in Maglič to her apartment in New Belgrade.

During a camping trip on August 16, a snake was discovered near a tent by the Ibar River. While the group believed the animal had been removed, a snake secretly entered Tijana’s bag as she prepared to leave for Belgrade.

Days later, between August 18 and 19, Tijana was woken up in her new apartment by a sensation of pressure around her neck, describing it as feeling like she was being strangled. She struggled to remove the snake, which had wrapped itself around her neck and become entangled in her hair, before fleeing to the bathroom in a state of panic.
