Snakes reported on Indian trains in separate Bihar incidents

Two separate incidents involving snakes on Indian trains have been reported in Bihar.

In the Jansewa Express, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel apprehended six snake charmers at Dighwara Station. The individuals were caught demanding money from passengers by displaying snakes in a general coach. During questioning, the suspects provided conflicting information regarding their residences, claiming locations such as Lucknow and Himachal Pradesh. The matter is being coordinated with the Forest Department for legal action.

In a separate event on the Swatantrata Senani Superfast Express, passengers in an AC 2-Tier coach panicked after a snake was spotted slithering into a panel above an upper berth. Although railway staff searched the area, they were unable to locate the reptile. As a precaution, authorities replaced the coach at Muzaffarpur and safely moved the passengers to a new carriage.
