Snap and PostNL Report Stronger Earnings and Cash Flow

Snap Inc. posted second‑quarter 2023 results that beat analysts' expectations. Revenue rose 19% year‑on‑year to $1.60 billion, above the $1.54 billion forecast. Net loss narrowed to $164 million, or $0.10 per share, from $263 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA jumped to $250 million, more than six times last year’s $41 million and well above the $192 million consensus. Free cash flow increased to $121 million from $24 million a year earlier, and daily active users reached 493 million, slightly above estimates. The company’s share price rose more than 10% in after‑hours trading.

PostNL reported first‑half 2026 results that showed a marked improvement in free cash flow. Revenue was €1.59 billion, matching the same period in 2025 and just shy of the €1.60 billion analyst estimate. Normalised EBIT was a €3 million loss, better than the €9 million loss expected. Free cash flow turned from a €80 million negative position a year earlier to a €17 million negative figure, surpassing the consensus of a €77 million shortfall. The company reaffirmed its outlook for 2026, targeting a normalised EBIT of €40‑70 million and a free cash flow range of €0‑30 million negative.
