Snap launches $2,195 AR glasses as shares tumble 8%

Snap Inc. unveiled its first augmented‑reality glasses, called Specs, priced at $2,195. The devices project digital information onto a 51‑degree field of view, weigh about 134 g, run for four hours on a charge and include an AI assistant that "can see what you see, understand what you’re trying to do, and help you in the moment," according to CEO Evan Spiegel.
