SNK and Bandai Namco announce Tekken 8 character Reina for Fatal Fury

SNK and Bandai Namco have announced a collaboration bringing the character Reina from Tekken 8 to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Reina, also known as the ‘Purple Lightning,’ is scheduled to join the roster in December 2026 as the sixth downloadable character of the game's third season.

Reina's combat style will be adapted to the Fatal Fury REV System to ensure compatibility with the game's mechanics. The character is voiced by Kate Clarke in English and Asami Seto in Japanese. In the game's narrative, the mysterious Mishima Polytechnic student arrives in South Town and considers participating in the King of Fighters tournament.

Reina's arrival completes a third-season lineup that includes seven characters. Other upcoming additions include characters from Tokyo Revengers arriving in October, Laocorn in November, and returning veterans such as Rick Strowd, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan.
