Snow League expands athlete field and secures Park City event permit

The Snow League has announced an expanded field for its second season, featuring 60 athletes including four reigning champions and 15 Olympic medalists. The competition will include both snowboard and freeski disciplines at every regular-season stop. Notable participants include Olympic halfpipe champions Eileen Gu, Yuto Totsuka, and Gaon Choi.

In the United States, the Park City Council has approved a special event permit for the league to hold a three-day competition at Park City Mountain from January 21–23, 2027. The event, founded by Shaun White, is expected to draw approximately 12,000 attendees over the weekend. To manage the influx of visitors during the Sundance Film Festival period, local officials have established traffic and parking mitigation plans, including the use of satellite parking lots and additional shuttles.
