Snow Man's Hikaru Iwamoto attends Japan premiere of ninja drama

Hikaru Iwamoto, a member of the idol group Snow Man, attended the Japan premiere of the TV Asahi drama “Sanada Juuyoushi: Shadows of the Ten Ninja” held at Tokyo Dream Park. The project is a large-scale ninja period drama designed to promote Japanese ninja culture to a global audience.

The series follows the story of Sanada Yukimura and ten legendary ninjas, known as the Sanada Ten Braves, as they challenge Tokugawa Ieyasu fourteen years after the Battle of Sekigahara. Iwamoto portrays the character Sarutobi Sasuke.

During the event, Iwamoto shared anecdotes from the three-month filming process in Kyoto, noting that his first day involved a crucifixion scene that lasted five to six hours. Despite the physical challenge, he described the filming environment as enjoyable. Co-stars praised Iwamoto for his leadership on set, noting his ability to maintain focus and support the cast during large-scale productions.
