Snow Man's Koji Mukai draws attention for handwritten scenes in TBS drama

Koji Mukai, a member of the group Snow Man, has garnered significant social media attention for his performance in the TBS Tuesday drama ‘Iroha no Koi wa Jidai o Kakeru’. Behind-the-scenes footage released by the drama's official social media accounts revealed that Mukai personally handwrote the text on the blackboard for his character, Seiryu Ichinose.

The footage shows Mukai, dressed as a teacher, carefully writing vertical text with chalk. Fans reacted positively to his handwriting, describing it as “manly” and expressing admiration for his ability to write straight lines despite the difficulty of using chalk.

In addition to the handwriting reveal, official promotional materials featuring Mukai in glasses have also generated excitement among viewers. The romantic comedy follows a modern-day teacher who becomes possessed by the soul of a girl from the Edo period, with Mukai playing a fellow teacher navigating contemporary educational challenges.
