Snow Man's Ryohei Abe discusses World Heritage sites on Japanese television

On the Nippon TV variety program “Sakusaku Himuhimu ☆Oshi no Furu Yoru☆”, Snow Man member Ryohei Abe appeared as a guest to discuss his passion for World Heritage sites. Abe, who holds a Level 1 World Heritage Test certification, shared that he visited Cologne Cathedral in Germany three times during a single European trip, describing the Gothic architecture as “the handsome man of the architectural world.”

During the broadcast, Abe also highlighted Horyu-ji temple in Japan, noting its “shinbashira” (central pillar) technology which helps offset vibrations during earthquakes. He pointed out that this ancient architectural technique is similar to the technology used in the modern Tokyo Skytree.

Other guests included comedian Abare-kun, a World Heritage Test “Meister,” and writer Yoko Honda. The program explored various sites, including the mystery of the Cueva de las Manos cave paintings in Argentina, Wat Mahathat in Thailand, Sigiriya Rock in Sri Lanka, and the Villa Tugendhat in the Czech Republic.
