Snowfall reported in Hokkaido regions

Snowfall has been reported in parts of Hokkaido, including Iwamizawa and Otaru.

In Otaru, the morning of October 28 was marked by the first snow of the season accompanied by strong winds. Temperatures reached a high of 4°C during the day. Local authorities issued warnings for high waves, strong winds, lightning, and snow accumulation.

In Iwamizawa, snow was also observed on the morning of October 29.
