Snowflake commits $6 B to AWS partnership to accelerate enterprise AI

Snowflake announced a multi‑year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services, committing $6 billion in infrastructure spend over five years. The deal expands joint investments in customer success, workload migrations and go‑to‑market programs, and deepens product integrations for generative and agentic AI. Snowflake will run AI and data workloads on AWS Graviton processors and GPU‑accelerated EC2 instances, aiming to help enterprises move from AI experimentation to production‑scale outcomes.

CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy said, “AI has generated enormous excitement, but for enterprises the real challenge is turning intelligence into action… we are moving into the era of the agentic enterprise.” AWS CEO Matt Garman added, “Snowflake has built on AWS since day one, and their deepened commitment to run on Graviton delivers the performance, flexibility and cost savings customers need.”
