Snowflake reports 33% revenue growth driven by enterprise AI demand

Snowflake Inc. has reported strong financial performance, driven by growing enterprise demand for its AI tools and data platform. For the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, the company recorded revenue of $1.391 billion, a 33% year-over-year increase. Product revenue grew 34% to $1.334 billion, and the company raised its full-year product revenue guidance to between $5.66 billion and $5.84 billion.

Growth is increasingly linked to AI integration. Over 13,600 accounts are currently utilizing Snowflake's AI capabilities, including Snowflake CoWork and the AI programming tool Snowflake CoCo. Rather than competing as a foundational model provider, Snowflake is positioning itself as a cognitive layer that integrates AI directly into existing enterprise data environments, leveraging existing governance and business context.

In broader market news, Snowflake shares recently reached 52-week highs alongside other tech companies like Cloudflare and Airbnb, fueled by Wall Street optimism regarding AI adoption and strong quarterly results across the sector.
