SNSD secures two-thirds majority in Republika Srpska elections
The SNSD party and its coalition partners have achieved a two-thirds majority in the recent general elections in Republika Srpska. This electoral victory provides the ruling coalition with significant political control, which analysts suggest could extend to the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina through 2030.
Following the results, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik addressed the critical state of the RiTE Ugljevik power plant and announced upcoming electricity price increases for households and the economy. Despite these challenges, Dodik stated that citizens have no reason for concern, noting that price hikes for households would not occur until March.
