São Caetano do Sul and Tupã upgrade health facilities in Brazil

The municipality of São Caetano do Sul renovated the decompress rooms at the Complexo Hospitalar de Clínicas and the Hospital Municipal de Emergências Albert Sabin/UPA Júlio Marcucci Sobrinho. The upgrades added recliners, charging stations, televisions and climate‑controlled spaces to support staff rest and reduce fatigue, benefiting over 1,000 hospital workers.

In Tupã, the city council signed a R$4.93 million agreement with the São Paulo state government to construct a new health unit on Avenida Tapuias, on the former Parque Infantil site. The project, funded through the state’s Caravana 3D program, aims to expand SUS services and improve local access to medical care.
