São Caetano improves municipal management index under Tite Campanella

The city of São Caetano has seen an improvement in its Municipal Management Effectiveness Index (IEG-M), according to data from the Tribunal de Contas do Estado de São Paulo (TCE-SP). During the first year of Mayor Tite Campanella’s administration, the city’s classification rose from C+ in 2024 to B for the 2025 period, reaching the level of Effective Management.

The IEG-M evaluates seven strategic sectors: Planning, Fiscal Management, Education, Health, Environment, Citizen Protection/Civil Defense, and IT Governance. The improvement is attributed to efforts in balancing public accounts and enhancing municipal services. Specifically, the city’s Planning indicator rose from a C to a B rating.
