São Carlos begins planning municipal education goals for the next decade

São Carlos has launched a series of pre-conferences to develop the new Municipal Education Plan (PME), which will establish educational goals, targets, and strategies for the next ten years.

Organized by the Municipal Education Secretariat in partnership with the Municipal Education Forum and the Municipal Education Council, the meetings will take place between September and November. The process aims to involve educators, students, families, and the broader community in identifying local educational needs. Topics for discussion include early childhood education, elementary education, adult education (EJA), inclusion, professional training, and democratic management. The first session, focused on rural education, was scheduled to begin on September 26.
