São Carlos Social Fund donates 330kg of food to APAE

The Fundo Social de Solidariedade de São Carlos has delivered 330 kilograms of food to the Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (APAE) in São Carlos. The donations were collected during the kit distribution for the 1st Corrida e Caminhada do Bem.

The sporting event, held in partnership with the Municipal Sports Secretariat, included 5-kilometer walks and races of 5 and 10 kilometers. In addition to the food collection, a portion of the registration fees will be allocated to support APAE’s activities in education, health, and social assistance. The initiative was part of the ‘Setembro Verde’ program, which focuses on raising awareness for the rights and valuation of people with disabilities.
