São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo Chamber approves infrastructure and economic projects

The Municipal Chamber of São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo has approved 19 indications and three legislative projects during its 13th Ordinary Meeting of 2026. The approved indications address various municipal needs, including urban and rural infrastructure, mobility, health, education, and public services.

Among the approved executive projects, Complementary Law Project No. 07/2026 expands the municipal administration by creating several new positions, such as Transport and Traffic Engineer, Occupational Physician, Occupational Safety Engineer, Nursing Technician for Pre-Hospital Care, and Legal Advisor.

Additionally, Law Project No. 21/2026 authorizes the use of FUNDEB resources to support the creation and maintenance of full-time municipal schools, prioritizing the Maria Eunice Moreira Bicalho Municipal Full-Time School. Finally, Law Project No. 22/2026 establishes the São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo Business Acceleration Center (CEASGRA) to promote economic diversification in alignment with the Prospera+ Municipal Economic Diversification Plan.
