São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo launches hiring process for community health agents

The municipality of São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo, through its Health Secretary, opened a public selection process to hire Community Health Agents (ACS) for the Family Health Strategy teams. The competition, regulated by Edital 02/2026 and managed by the Instituto Brasileiro de Gestão e Pesquisa (IBGP), offers two immediate vacancies plus a reserve list. Candidates must register online at the IBGP portal by 16:00 on 30 June 2026; registration is free and started on 1 June.

Applicants must reside in the micro‑area covered by the intended health team, with residency proof required. The vacancies cover several micro‑areas across the ESF II, III and V units, including locations such as Brejaúba, Pedras, Córrego das Pacas, Machado, Faxina, Mãe D’Água, Baú, and others. The selection consists of a multiple‑choice objective exam that is eliminatory and classificatory.
