São Gonçalo hosts inaugural Municipal Christian Culture Week

The city of São Gonçalo has launched its first Municipal Christian Culture Week, featuring a variety of free activities scheduled through October 31. Organized by the Associação Códigos do Rei with support from the municipal government, the event aims to promote community coexistence and the use of public spaces through the theme “The city is our stage. Culture is our expression.”

The program includes the “Forma e Reforma” dance and theater showcase at the Municipal Theater, as well as the “Fé que Move Cidades” visual arts exhibition at the Casa das Artes. Other scheduled events include cultural discussions at the Rhema Alcântara Church and a closing “Family Day” at Praça Zé Garoto, which will feature an entrepreneurship fair, musical performances, and cinema screenings.

The initiative also references the Protestant Reformation Day on October 31, highlighting the historical contributions of the movement to education and social development.
