São Gonçalo offers free professional and entrepreneurship courses

The municipality of São Gonçalo is offering various free professional training opportunities to residents.

Through a partnership with Firjan SENAI SESI, 75 vacancies are available for construction industry courses. These include 50 spots for ceramic coating applicators and 25 for masonry workers. Registration is conducted in person at the Firjan SENAI SESI unit in the city center until September 14, or until all spots are filled. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have completed at least the 5th year of elementary school, and provide proof of low income. Priority is given to São Gonçalo residents.

Additionally, the São Gonçalo Secretariat of Tourism and Culture, in collaboration with Sebrae, is providing free courses for local artisans and microentrepreneurs. These sessions focus on business management topics such as pricing, marketing, online sales, financial management, and customer service. Meetings are held at the Centro Cultural Joaquim Lavoura auditorium.
