Minas Gerais to receive seven new solar power plants by 2027

Orbis Energia is developing seven new solar power plants in Minas Gerais to support a real estate fund with decentralized investors. Each of the seven plants is designed to have a capacity of five megawatts-peak.

One project is currently underway in Lavras, with an expected inauguration in September of this year. The remaining six plants will be located in the municipality of Cláudio, in the Central-West region, and are scheduled for inauguration in November 2027. Orbis Energia, which is originally from Minas Gerais but headquartered in São Paulo, will be responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of these assets.
