São João da Madeira park restrooms remain closed due to leak

Public restrooms at the Parque Urbano do Rio Ul in São João da Madeira remain closed due to an unidentified leak. The municipality and the site concessionaire are working together to locate the source of the malfunction to allow for the reopening of the facilities.

During a municipal meeting on September 8, it was noted that the responsibility for repairs lies with the concessionaire. Additionally, the municipality intends to remove a physical structure currently placed in the changing rooms. This structure was originally installed to restrict access to the sanitary areas and prevent vandalism during a period when no concessionaire was managing the space. Once the leak is fixed, the municipality aims to restore full access to both the restrooms and the changing rooms for public use.
