São João de Deus hospital acquires pediatric laser via charity partnership

The São João de Deus hospital has expanded its pediatric care capabilities through the acquisition of a new therapeutic laser. The equipment was purchased using funds raised via the ‘Troco Solidário’ project, a partnership with Mart Minas Atacado & Varejo that has been active since 2021.

Between 2022 and 2025, the ‘Troco Solidário’ initiative collected R$ 322,168.69, which has funded more than 40 items for pediatric and neonatal assistance. In 2026 alone, over R$ 90,000 has already been invested in the project to improve patient care through technology and humanized assistance.
