São João de Meriti inaugurates Venda Velha Family Clinic

The city government of São João de Meriti has inaugurated the Venda Velha Family Clinic to expand primary healthcare services for approximately 24,000 local residents. The opening coincided with the municipality's 79th anniversary of emancipation.

The new facility is equipped with six Family Health Strategy teams, two oral health teams, seven consultation rooms, and two dental offices. Additionally, the clinic provides a baby room, pharmacy, vaccination services, wound care, and a procedure room to centralize medical services for the community.

Mayor Léo Vieira and Health Secretary Dr. Carlos Neto emphasized that the unit aims to provide continuous and accessible assistance tailored to the specific needs of the Venda Velha population.
