São João del-Rei: 75-year-old driver robbed and threatened at gunpoint

A 75-year-old ride-hailing driver was robbed and threatened at gunpoint in São João del-Rei. During the incident, the victim was strangled and faced death threats as the criminals forced him to drive toward a rural area.

The suspects, described as a man and a woman followed by a third individual, stole approximately R$ 300, six credit and debit cards, and mobile phones. Following the crime, the Military Police tracked the stolen devices to a property near Residencial Risoletta Neves. Three 16-year-old adolescents were subsequently apprehended by authorities.
