São José de Ribamar investigates suspected education contest irregularities

The municipal government of São José de Ribamar has implemented measures following suspicions of irregularities in a public contest for the municipal education sector. The contest was organized by the Instituto Social da Cidadania Juscelino Kubitschek.

A monitoring commission was established to deliberate on necessary actions. The commission has unanimously decided to formally request information from the organizing body and has requested a meeting with the Public Prosecutor's Office to provide clarifications and assist in the investigation. The organizing institute has already submitted documentation to the municipality, which has subsequently been forwarded to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The administration stated it is awaiting a meeting with the official body to reaffirm its commitment to legality and transparency.
