The City of São José is implementing traffic flow changes on two streets to improve circulation and enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians. The modifications are scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM on Saturday, August 29.

In the Campinas neighborhood, the direction of traffic on Rua Frei Hilário will be inverted. The street, which currently flows from Giassi toward Igreja Redonda, will instead move from Avenida Governador Jorge Lacerda toward Avenida Irineu Bornhausen. This area is noted for high activity due to the presence of Colégio Cubo and Colégio Alfa Visão.

In the Praia Comprida district, Rua Oscar Teodoro da Silva will transition from two-way traffic to a one-way system. Vehicles will travel in a single direction from the BR-101 marginal toward Rua Gentil Sandin, covering a stretch of approximately 240 meters. This change follows requests from local residents.

Horizontal signage is set to be updated on Friday night, weather permitting, with vertical signage installation occurring throughout the following week. Municipal Guard agents will be deployed on Monday, August 31, to assist motorists during the transition period.
