São Ludgero wins microrregional youth football championship

The Escola de Educação Básica (EEB) São Ludgero won the 34th Microrregional Stage of the Campeonato Catarinense Escolar de Futebol (CCEF), known as ‘Moleque Bom de Bola’. The tournament for the male 15 to 17 age category took place from September 14 to 17, 2026, at the Estádio Reinaldão.

São Ludgero secured the championship with an undefeated run, including victories against EEB Werner Knabben (4-0), EEB M. Francisco Giesberts (2-1), EEB Nossa Senhora de Fátima (2-1), and EEB Miguel de Patta (4-1). The final standings placed EEB Werner Knabben in second, EEB Nossa Senhora de Fátima in third, and EEB Miguel de Patta in fourth.

Coach Matheus Locks attributed the success to the dedication and commitment of the young athletes, noting that the school had previously won the 11 to 14 age category.
