São Ludgero women's volleyball team wins debut 3‑0 in Superliga C South stage

The Copobrás Vôlei/SECT São Ludgero women's volleyball team opened the South stage of Brazil's Superliga C with a 3‑0 victory over AABB Foz do Iguaçu on Monday, 27 October, in Castro, Paraná. The win puts the team in contention for the sole spot that advances to the national phase of the tournament scheduled for November.

The club’s participation is supported by the São Ludgero municipal government through the Secretariat of Sports, Culture and Tourism. Coach Marcelo Garim praised the players’ focus, saying the squad aims to capture the title and a coveted national berth. Mayor Paulo Sérgio Lorenzetti highlighted the project’s role in promoting health, discipline and civic pride. The team will continue its schedule against APAV Castro (Tuesday), Juventus (Wednesday), AERV Passo Fundo (Thursday) and Caçadorense (Friday).
