São Luís celebrates 414 years with cultural programs

Various initiatives are underway to celebrate the 414th anniversary of São Luís, the capital of Maranhão.

TV Mirante is broadcasting a special program titled ‘Bora Ver São Luís’. Now in its fourth edition, the program aims to showcase the city's diversity through different perspectives, featuring local characters and stories that reflect the daily lives of its residents.

Additionally, the Sindicato das Empresas de Transporte de Passageiros de São Luís (SET) has launched a cultural contest called ‘Janela Cultural do Busão – Meu Lugar Favorito de São Luís’. The competition invites public transport users to photograph and share their favorite locations in the city to foster a connection between the population and the urban landscape. The contest is supported by partners including Moovit, SENAC, and SESC/SENAT, with prizes including cash and transit credits.
