São Paulo and Fluminense interested in Coritiba midfielder Josué

São Paulo and Fluminense are reportedly interested in signing Portuguese midfielder Josué from Coritiba. The 36-year-old playmaker has emerged as a key figure in the 2026 Brasileirão, leading the competition in assists.

Josué's current contract with Coritiba expires at the end of 2026, which allows him to sign a pre-contract with another club for the 2027 season. He has been a central part of Coritiba's offensive production, accounting for approximately 40.7% of the team's assists in the league.

Formed in the FC Porto youth academy, Josué has extensive international experience, having played in Portugal, Turkey, Israel, and Poland. He has also represented the Portuguese national team in four matches.
