São Paulo and Piracicaba launch over 2,200 municipal job openings

The São Paulo city government’s Centre for Support to Work and Entrepreneurship (Cate) is offering more than 2,100 vacancies across commerce, services, construction, logistics, technology and other sectors. Salaries range from R$ 761 for entry‑level administrative roles up to R$ 12,000 for system‑development positions. Applications close on 10 June (18 h) and can be submitted via the Cate portal or in person, with required documents including ID, CPF and work card. The posting also includes 600+ cleaning jobs, 206 logistics positions, 150 telemarketing roles and a dedicated set of 30 technology jobs, as well as 200 + openings for LGBTQIA+ candidates.

The municipality of Piracicaba has posted 111 vacancies covering a variety of trades such as security, general services, electromechanical technicians, field registrars, construction laborers and maintenance roles. Thirteen positions are reserved for people with disabilities. The highest wages reach R$ 4,653.54 for a night‑shift mechanic, with other salaries up to R$ 4,200 for automotive electricians. Candidates must meet education and licensing requirements specific to each role and apply through the city’s online job panel.
