São Paulo and Vitória implement housing and land regularization programs

In São Paulo, the municipal government delivered 298 housing units at the Residencial Forte do Rio Branco in the São Mateus district. Additionally, 204 property deeds were issued to families in the Loteamento São Francisco through the ‘Escritura na Mão’ program. The housing construction project involved an investment of R$ 59.3 million, while the land regularization process cost R$ 571.2 thousand, benefiting a total of 502 families.

In Vitória, 265 families in the Resistência neighborhood received definitive land titles following an agreement between the local government and the federal government regarding marine areas. This regularization provides legal security to residents, allowing properties to be legally owned, valued, and passed down as inheritance. The process involved technical studies and measurements that began in 2022.
