São Paulo begins mandatory truck licensing schedule
The mandatory vehicle licensing schedule for trucks in the state of São Paulo is underway, with specific deadlines based on license plate endings. For September, the schedule includes plates ending in 1, 2, 5, and 6.
To regularize a vehicle, owners must pay the licensing fee of R$ 174.08, settle any outstanding fines and IPVA, and provide the Renavam number. Once payment is processed, the digital vehicle registration certificate (CRLV-e) is updated and can be accessed via Detran-SP, Poupatempo, or Senatran platforms.
Failure to comply with the licensing deadlines results in a very serious infraction, carrying a fine of R$ 293.47, seven points on the driver's license, and vehicle impoundment. The full cycle continues through the end of the year, with plates ending in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0 scheduled for subsequent months.
