São Paulo Bilhete Único system to suspend recharges for seven hours

The Bilhete Único system in São Paulo will undergo scheduled maintenance this weekend, resulting in a seven-hour suspension of services. From 11:00 PM on Saturday (19) until 6:00 AM on Sunday (20), users will be unable to register, purchase, sell, or recharge credits through any channels.

The São Paulo City Hall has advised passengers to top up their cards in advance if they plan to use public transportation during the early hours of Sunday. While recharging services will be unavailable, existing balances on cards will remain functional, allowing passengers to continue using buses and other transport methods that accept the Bilhete Único normally.
