São Paulo cities adjust services for municipal holidays
Municipal holidays in the state of São Paulo will affect public services and commercial hours in Presidente Prudente and Limeira.
In Presidente Prudente, the city celebrates its 109th anniversary on Monday (14). Administrative activities at the City Hall will be suspended, and local commerce will be closed on Monday, though it will operate from 9:00 to 15:00 on Saturday. While basic health units (UBS) and family health strategies (ESF) will close, emergency services such as UPAs and Pronto-Atendimentos will remain available. A festive parade is scheduled for Monday at 9:00 in Parque do Povo.
Limeira will observe a facultative holiday on Monday (14) and a municipal holiday on Tuesday (15) to mark its bicentennial. Essential services, including SAMU, 24-hour UPAs, and the Municipal Pharmacy, will continue to operate. However, municipal schools, libraries, and specialized health clinics will be closed. To celebrate the bicentennial, special programming will take place at Parque Cidade on Tuesday, featuring various activities and a concert by Elba Ramalho.
