São Paulo Coffee Festival showcases specialty coffee, sustainability and women‑led microlots

The São Paulo Coffee Festival was held from 26 to 28 June 2026 at the Bienal do Parque Ibirapuera, bringing together more than 150 specialty‑coffee brands and expecting around 16,000 visitors. The event featured tastings, barista competitions, workshops and a dedicated space called “O Laboratório” for industry experts, producers, roasters and researchers to discuss climate‑related challenges, price volatility, traceability, technology and consumer trends.

Brazil’s state tourism agency promoted the “Rotas do Café” to link urban consumers with rural coffee farms, aiming to boost regional tourism and support local economies. A highlight was the launch of women‑produced microlots from the Florada Premiada project, with three award‑winning coffees scoring above 90 points and accompanied by a talk on female entrepreneurship in coffee. Organisers positioned the festival as a platform for innovation, sustainability and cultural exchange within Brazil’s agribusiness sector.
