São Paulo court freezes R$ 56,000 in Dudu Camargo's accounts
A judge in São Paulo has ordered the seizure of R$ 56,200 from the bank accounts of television presenter Dudu Camargo. The decision, issued by Judge Ana Maria Brugin of the State Tax Execution Court, stems from a tax execution action by the São Paulo government regarding unpaid Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA).
The debt is linked to two luxury vehicles: a 2010 BMW Z4 and a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Style. According to court records, the unpaid taxes for the Mercedes-Benz cover the years 2022 through 2025, while the BMW Z4 has outstanding debts for 2023 and 2025.
Camargo, a presenter for Record, has the right to contest the values or provide proof of payment within the legal framework of the tax execution process. As of the latest reports, his defense has not issued a statement regarding the freeze.
