São Paulo and Boca Juniors advance to Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals

São Paulo and Boca Juniors have both advanced to the quarter-finals of the Copa Sudamericana. São Paulo secured their spot with a 3-1 victory over Bolívar at the Morumbis stadium, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg. Goals for the Brazilian side were scored by Luciano, Calleri, and Sabino, while Dairon Asprilla scored for Bolívar.

Boca Juniors also progressed decisively, defeating Deportivo Recoleta 4-0 in Paraguay to win the series with a 7-1 aggregate score. Their goals were provided by Santiago Ascacíbar, Sebastián Villa, Miguel Merentiel, and Alan Velasco.

The quarter-final matchup between São Paulo and Boca Juniors is scheduled for September, with the first leg to be played at La Bombonera and the return leg at the Morumbis.
