São Paulo delivers 173 new apartments in Jabaquara

The São Paulo City Hall has delivered 173 new housing units in the Jabaquara district, specifically within the Filadélfia and Hildebrando residential complexes. These apartments were constructed by SPObras as part of the Água Espraiada Urban Consortium Operation (OUCAE), representing a total investment of R$ 32.8 million.

Mayor Ricardo Nunes announced that the total number of apartments delivered in the Jabaquara territory during the 'Prefeitura Presente' program reached 793 units. The housing project is linked to urban interventions in the Água Espraiada perimeter, which include the channeling of the Água Espraiada stream, the widening of Avenida Roberto Marinho, and the creation of public leisure and sports spaces.

The new homes serve families relocated from various local communities, such as Souza Dantas and Rocinha Paulistana, many of whom had been living in high-risk areas near watercourses.
