São Paulo Expo hosts LAT. BUS 2026 with free electric shuttles
The LAT. BUS 2026 exhibition, one of the largest urban transport fairs in Latin America, will run from 11 to 13 August at São Paulo Expo. A partnership between Grupo MobiBrasil, Primova and the Cittamobi platform will provide free electric shuttle buses linking Congonhas Airport, São Judas Metro station and the Jabaquara Metro terminal with the Expo venue. Attendees must download the Cittamobi app, log in with their CPF and validate the ride via Primova Pay. The service runs from midday on 11 August and from 9 a.m. on the following days, offering 30‑minute intervals.
The event also marks the 70th anniversary of Brazil’s national bus industry, highlighting the country’s role as a global hub for bus design, electrification and export. According to Anfavea president Igor Calvet, Brazil has produced nearly 1.2 million chassis, registered 900 thousand units domestically and exported 276 thousand buses, reinforcing its influence across Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
