São Paulo FC prepares for Bragantino match amid injury updates
São Paulo FC is preparing for its upcoming Campeonato Brasileiro match against Red Bull Bragantino at MorumBIS. Under the direction of coach Dorival Júnior, the squad has been engaging in tactical training, including defensive transitions and offensive finishing drills.
The team is managing several player fitness concerns. Defender Arboleda has progressed in his recovery from an adductor edema and participated fully in recent training sessions. Attacker Victor Sá is also nearing a return after recovering from a right ankle sprain.
However, some absences are expected. Calleri is recovering from a left ankle sprain and is unlikely to play this Saturday. Additionally, midfielder Bobadilla (knee pain) and Lucas Moura (recovering from Achilles tendon surgery) have been performing individual running drills under physiotherapy supervision. Attacker André Silva has reportedly expressed his desire to remain at the club and fight for more playing time despite recent limited opportunities.
