São Paulo FC signs Pedro Lima on loan from Wolverhampton

São Paulo FC has officially signed 20-year-old right-back Pedro Lima on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers. The deal is set to run until June 30, 2027, and does not include an option for a permanent purchase.

Under the terms of the agreement, Wolverhampton will cover 60% of the player's monthly wages, leaving São Paulo responsible for a portion totaling less than R$ 300,000 per month. The move follows increased competition for playing time at the English club, particularly after the arrival of Kieran Trippier.

Pedro Lima, a former Brazilian youth international, brings experience from stints at Sport Recife, Porto B, and Wolverhampton. He is expected to compete for a starting position against players such as Lucas Ramon, Aurélio Buta, and Igor Felisberto. The player is currently awaiting the completion of bureaucratic registration processes with FIFA before he can be eligible for official matches.
