São Paulo Grand Prix reveals new titanium trophy

The São Paulo Formula 1 Grand Prix has unveiled the titanium trophy that will be awarded to drivers at the Interlagos podium this November. Designed by Fábio Castellotti, Fernando Lambiasi, and Gabriel Scholab, the piece draws inspiration from the exhaust manifolds of historic V10 engines.

The trophy incorporates multiple symbolic elements: its five tubes represent both engine components and the five lines of a musical staff, with shapes resembling a musical eighth note to honor Brazilian music. The design also features the silhouette of the ‘S do Senna’ curve, the topography of the track, and a shape reminiscent of a waving victory flag. When viewed from the front, the contour suggests the map of Brazil, while the base reproduces the track's curbs.
