São Paulo hosts 2026 Lat. Bus and Fenatran transport fairs emphasizing tech and free entry

The Lat. Bus 2026 exhibition took place from 11–13 August at Expo São Paulo, showcasing the latest technologies for public‑transport operators. Highlights included panels on electronic ticketing, AI‑driven route optimisation, digital payment methods such as Pix and contactless cards, and Intelligent Transport Systems that integrate Big Data and IoT. A dedicated session also examined the passenger experience, citing Goiânia’s award‑winning model as a case study.

The 25th Fenatran fair ran 9–13 November at SP Expo, presenting the largest road‑freight showcase in Latin America. Free online registration was available from 10 August until 7 November; afterwards, admission costs R$150. The event featured more than 700 brands, including Volvo, Volkswagen Caminhões, Mercedes‑Benz, Scania, and several Chinese manufacturers, plus test‑drives, exhibitions, and thematic conferences such as Fenatran Experience and Frotas Conectadas.
